Born in Georgia, I was raised in Marietta, which is just outside of Atlanta. I started
tattooing when I was 25. I went to House of Color in Marietta and got my first tattoo. After
spending some time there (and some cash) I started working as the counter person and
then moved into an apprenticeship. That was over ten years ago. I have worked in
several shops in that ten years and worked with some great artists. Also in that ten years
I have learned some things and developed some opinions about the way you get
tattooed. I am very laid back, as most big guys are, and even though I look scary I really
am pretty nice. I won't give you attitude and will treat you with respect. So many artists act
like rock stars and treat you as if you were the least important part of the tattoo; I hate it. I
hate it when other artists treat you in a vulgar and disrespectful manner. I don't do that. I
strive to be the artist you have been looking for. One of my regular customers, when
asked why she liked coming to me said: "Because you do good work and you are nice to
me." (Thanks Jesse!) I will work my hardest to make you happy with your tattoo. I am a
bold line and bright color man, but I don't let myself be limited to that. Look through my
galleries and you will see my versatility. If you want it done, I can give it to you. My favorite
style is New Traditional, which is old school tattoo style with a twist and pumped up with
the brightest colors available. Thank you for stopping by my site, look around and read
my blogs. Drop me an email if you have any questions. Get to know me and I think you
will want me to do your next tattoo. I look forward to it.
I am a blues man. Any kind of blues makes me happy. Electric Blues Rock, Traditional
Delta Blues, Country Blues, Chicago Blues, Texas Blues, etc. If you haven't heard the
blues then do yourself a favor and find some now. Look into John Lee Hooker, Son
Seals, BB Chungking and the Buddaheads, Paul Butterfield, Darrell Mansfield, Muddy
Waters, Susan Tedeschi, Sonnyboy Williamson, or even BB King and Robert Johnson.
Now you may not like it. The blues doesn't speak to everybody. It's ok; I'll like you
anyway. But you should definitely look into it, because if the blues does get to your soul,
you'll never be the same. I also listen to country (Montgomery Gentry, Hank Williams, jr.,
Conway Twitty, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash), rock (Lynrd Skynrd, Allman Bros.,
Motley Crue, Tesla, Poison), and some metal (Machinehead, POD, Downset). I like some
pop and some soul. My favorite singer/band is Mylon Lefevre. Look him up; you may be
surprised.
One word for you: FIREFLY. If you haven't seen it, go buy it on DVD. It is the best show ever
and I don't want to hear you whining about how you "don't like scifi" or "don't like Joss
Whedon", just go watch the damn show.  It has everything a show should have and if you
watch 3 episodes, you will be hooked.
Nip/Tuck is the best show on television. I love it. It's
definitely adults only, but I am hooked. "Scrubs” is the best show on television. It's a great,
very funny, extremely well written show. The best half hour on TV. Breaking Bonaduce is a
show I hate to miss. Danny Bonaduce is extremely compelling to me. I don't know why, but I
am glued to the telly for it. Of course I have seen Miami Ink and I do like it. I dig on Danny
Phantom too. (It's a cartoon so look on those channels for it) The Soup is very, very funny
and I do try to watch Ebert and Roper, even when I don't agree with them. I very much miss
Buffy and Angel, but oh well, they are on DVD.
So many to name, but here goes. Garden State, Closer, Batman Begins, Constantine, Sin
City, The Princess Bride, Snatch, From Dusk till Dawn, Blade, Blade 2, Fight Club, Office
Space, Stir Of Echoes, Resident Evil, As Good As It Gets, Step mom, Varsity Blues, Boogie
Nights, Collateral, Evil Dead, Army Of Darkness, Streets of Fire, Truth about Cats and Dogs,
The Matchmaker, Ghostbusters, and Roadhouse.
Two words for you: Andrew Vachss. Go and buy a book of his. I don't care which book. Pick
up the Burke series, or his newest one (Two Trains Running). His writing is hard-boiled on
steroids. It is as hard and gritty as concrete. I also read all of the Anita Blake series by Laurell
K. Hamilton. I read Hellboy, Preacher, Sandman, New York City Tattoo, Sailor Jerry Speaks,
martial arts books, and pretty much everything I can get my hands on.
